Coherent Japan Corporation (Headquarters: Shibuya, Tokyo) has launched its first-ever virtual showroom online. In the manufacturing industry, trade shows and face-to-face events, which have traditionally been important venues for generating business negotiations and product PR, have been scaled back due to the spread of the coronavirus. In response to the reduced opportunities for product and service PR, various companies are attempting to substitute these opportunities online. Coherent Japan Corporation is working to simultaneously showcase actual footage from trade shows and presentation content online, allowing customers who find it difficult to visit the venue or Coherent Japan's facilities to still learn about their products and solutions. ■ Main Exhibits 1.
