Various polypropylene, nylon, and polycarbonate fittings (joints and connectors) are available. They can accommodate tubes and hoses with inner diameters ranging from 1/16 inch to 3/8 inch. The tubes can rotate freely, reducing twisting and preventing tube detachment accidents during use. In the valve-equipped type, liquids (gases) automatically stop when removed under pressure. There are products that can handle hydrochloric acid, sodium hypochlorite, and steam.
