AseptiQuik L for sterile connection
Single-use, genderless, sterile connection connector. Enables rapid and easy high-flow sterile connections in general environments.
Revolutionary! It enables rapid and easy high-flow sterile connections even in general environments. The large tube diameters of 3/4 inch (19.0 mm) and 1 inch (25.4 mm), along with a shape that does not distinguish between male and female, simplify the system and reduce the risk of incorrect connections. Due to its robust structure, there is no need for clamps, fixtures, or welding with tubes. In biopharmaceutical manufacturing, it can be used with the quality expected from the single-use connection technology industry by accommodating interchangeable 3/4 inch and 1 inch flow applications in large-scale bioprocess manufacturing. The structure allows for connections without distinguishing between male and female, resolving issues where handheld bags cannot connect due to both being male. Since there is no distinction, connections can be made even without bags with male or female parts. A sound is produced twice during the connection process to indicate completion. Before pulling the membranes, the structure requires that two membranes be clipped together securely, preventing issues where only one membrane is pulled or both cannot be pulled simultaneously, which could lead to contamination or the need to discard batches due to such concerns.
