Continental has procured all of its production facility's electricity from renewable energy sources as of the fiscal year 2020. This was concluded in the assurance report by auditor KPMG. Through the purchase of approximately 4 million megawatt-hours (MWh) of green energy, we achieved a 70% reduction in our direct and indirect CO2 emissions, from about 3.2 million tons in 2019 to 990,000 tons in 2020.
