Chemical industry
Cosmo's area of expertise = Chemical industry
1. Filling room of a certain chemical factory. Manual work to fill hazardous substances. 2. Handling of film-type so-called "thin materials" is also possible with robots. 3. Similar to the above, filling room of a certain chemical factory. Gas masks are essential. 4. Filled liquid substances.
basic information
This is a project involving the construction of high-difficulty equipment and systems that other companies tend to avoid, such as "hazardous materials, heavy objects, high temperatures, and explosion-proof specifications." For example, handling heavy products weighing up to 700 kg with robots or dealing with high-temperature products at around 1250 degrees is possible at Cosmo Giken. We are also developing complex image processing systems that combine 2D and 3D cameras.

Track Record of Supplying Explosion-Proof Robot Equipment Our clients include major companies across various industries such as JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency), Japan Nuclear Fuel Limited (Rokkasho Village, Aomori Prefecture), Toagosei (Yokohama Plant), Denka (Omuta Plant), Kawasaki Heavy Industries (Nagoya No. 2 Plant), Okuma (Headquarters Plant, Kani Plant), Mitsubishi Heavy Industries (Nagoya Guided Propulsion Systems Manufacturing Plant, Kobe Shipyard, Takasago Plant), LIXIL (Ibaraki Plant), JFE Steel (Chita Works), and Nippon Steel (Steelworks). The projects we undertake involve the construction of complex equipment and systems that handle "hazardous materials, heavy objects, high temperatures, and explosion-proof specifications," which are often avoided by other companies. For example, Cosmo Giken is capable of freely handling heavy products weighing up to 700 kg with robots, as well as dealing with high-temperature products at around 1250 degrees. We also develop complex image processing systems that combine 2D and 3D cameras.
