Capillary columns, an essential item for GC and GC/MS analysis.
At S.G.E., we have added the maximum bleed amount of the column and the minimum theoretical plate number to our inspection items, and we are implementing more rigorous testing methods for each individual column (general columns) than before. By reducing bleed, we keep the baseline rise low and minimize detector contamination. By setting the minimum theoretical plate number (plates/m) in our inspection standards higher than before, S.G.E. offers columns with higher separation capabilities.
