Activated sludge continuous testing device
Laboratory-scale tests of the activated sludge method. Utilizing the power of aerobic microorganisms in the activated sludge method!
● Data for the design and management of wastewater treatment facilities using the standard activated sludge method can be created, as all components including the sedimentation tank, raw water pump, aeration pump, sludge return mechanism, and automatic liquid temperature regulator are fully set up. ● The aeration tank and sedimentation tank are made of rigid transparent PVC, allowing for easy internal observation and providing excellent durability. ● The raw water pump uses a tube pump that does not cause blockages even with liquids containing slurry and fibrous materials. The injection volume can be freely adjusted, allowing for the selection of an appropriate retention time. ● An aeration pump is built-in for aeration purposes. The aeration pipe uses a pipe with small holes. It can be easily removed for cleaning. The air supply volume can be adjusted with a valve while being monitored by a flow meter. ● In the AS type, sludge returns to the aeration tank by its own weight, so the adjustment of sludge concentration is done by appropriately removing sludge. In the ASS-P type, settled sludge is returned to the aeration tank using a tube pump. The sludge return ratio is expressed as the volume of returned sludge relative to the raw water volume (%).
basic information
To decompose and remove organic pollutants in wastewater, aeration is performed by mixing with aerobic microorganisms. The activated sludge separated from the treated water by sedimentation is returned to the aeration tank in the required amount, while the remaining activated sludge is treated as excess sludge.
