We would like to introduce a case study of our hybrid actuator "HySerpack" used in hydraulic steering and anti-roll devices for ships. The steering system of a ship typically employs a servo control system using servo valves or proportional electromagnetic control valves. The steering system using the hybrid actuator demonstrates control characteristics that are comparable to traditional systems, achieving four times the output while reducing the volume to about one-eighth, allowing for a significant reduction in the size of the steering room.
