Collaborative robot 'sawyer' available! Information about the showroom of Daiki Sangyo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters in Osaka)
In the showroom of our new office (Osaka), completed in March 2017, you can experience the collaborative robot 'Sawyer' developed and produced by Rethink Robotics! Rethink Robotics, based in the United States, was founded in 2008 by Dr. Rodney Brooks, one of the founders of iRobot, known for the robot vacuum 'Roomba'. Developed under the mission of "making robots more accessible, easier to use, and more practical," Sawyer can be operated without a manual, learning complex movements simply by indicating points, requiring no specialized knowledge. In our showroom, we not only provide explanations about the robot but also allow you to interact with the actual Sawyer unit. We are the only company in the Kansai region that has a demo unit available! If you are interested, please feel free to contact us.

For those who feel this way, you can "touch" the robotic equipment anytime, casually, and for free!!

The manufacture and sale of mercury lamps will be banned in 2020.
Is it true that mercury lamps will no longer be usable!? About the Minamata Convention on Mercury ◆ What is the Minamata Convention on Mercury? The Minamata Convention on Mercury is a treaty that establishes comprehensive regulations to reduce the risks that mercury poses to human health and the environment. It was adopted and signed at a diplomatic conference of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) held in Kumamoto Prefecture in October 2013. ◆ What is the impact on mercury lamps? For high-pressure mercury lamps used for general lighting, manufacturing, exporting, or importing will be banned by 2020, regardless of the amount of mercury contained. ◆ Possible risks There are about six companies that can extract mercury... As a result, there is a risk that mercury processing will fall behind, necessitating the storage of mercury. Storing hazardous mercury incurs costs such as: - Lockable storage - Selection of a manager - Creation of records ... Considering the above risks, major companies are rapidly transitioning to LED technology. Having a large stock of mercury lamps poses significant risks. Please consider switching to LED.
