This catalog introduces the "Sakai Belt-Type Continuously Variable Transmission" from Sakai Manufacturing Co., Ltd., which we handle. It comes standard with a compact body and a pulley with a gear ratio of 1:5.5. You can choose between U-type and Z-type housings. Its unique oil-free mechanism and belt slip prevention mechanism prevent troubles during operation. In particular, the instantaneous maximum torque that indicates the transmission power during forward and reverse rotation, as well as during acceleration, has a large reserve in the low-speed range.
