Fluorine Rubber Water Jet Processing Case Study: Chemical Resistance and Heat Resistant Gaskets
No thermal impact on the material! Achieving a high-quality finish without compromising physical properties.
We would like to introduce a case where we manufactured six large-diameter flange gaskets with an outer diameter of φ580mm and an inner diameter of φ482mm from a fluororubber (FKM) sheet (thickness 3mm) based on the customer's drawing, which has excellent chemical resistance. The processing involved drilling 16 bolt holes of φ12mm on a P.C.D. of 536mm. Using our water jet cutting machine, we directly cut from CAD data with high precision. Water jet cutting is suitable for processing elastic materials like rubber because it cuts with a high-pressure water stream. 【Processing Features】 - No need for molds, resulting in low cost and short delivery times - Direct processing from drawings - High-quality cutting with no thermal impact - Easy repeat orders with data storage *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
