Introducing a case of precision cutting of medium-sized high heat-resistant insulation boards using plotter processing!
We would like to introduce a processing case of Nichias' vermiculite-based heat-resistant and insulating board "Vermosal Sheet No. 6750-P," adopted for electric furnaces and heat treatment equipment. The specifications include a board measuring 138W × 250L with a large center hole of φ100 and four φ15 bolt holes for fastening. Hard boards containing minerals, like Vermosal Sheet, tend to have brittle edges that can easily chip when cut with rough tools such as saws. However, by utilizing our high-precision plotter processing, we minimized burrs and chipping to an extreme degree, successfully completing the mass production of 120 pieces with high precision.
