Here we introduce a case where the "Abnormal Sound Inspection Device" was applied to crack inspection of washers. In the manufacturing process of washers, tiny cracks that are difficult to detect visually may occur, necessitating pre-shipment inspections. Since the impact sound when a cracked washer is dropped onto a metal plate differs from that of a good product, this device can quantitatively detect the differences in impact sounds.
