■Seminar Overview In this webinar, we will welcome Professor Yamamoto from Nagoya University’s Institute of Future Materials and Systems, who will give a lecture on the following topics: - The capabilities of Chinese EV manufacturers in electric vehicle design - The future of next-generation inverters through new cooling strategies - The technological strategies that the Japanese automotive industry should adopt ■Details We will introduce the technical challenges faced by three leading Chinese EV manufacturers, which are considered pioneers in power semiconductor application technology for electric vehicles, through a breakdown analysis of inverters, battery chargers, and DC-DC converters. Additionally, we will explore the potential of cooling systems for power semiconductors in the Cybertruck, as well as the future of next-generation inverters through new cooling strategies. We will discuss the essential technological elements required for automotive power electronics by 2030, considering materials, components, systems, and the entire vehicle hierarchy.
