During long-term storage of cylinder rolls, cracks may occur in the chrome plating on the surface of the cylinder rolls, which is multi-layered, leading to corrosion of the underlying metal. By applying this product to the surface of the cylinder rolls, the anti-rust agent penetrates the cracked areas and prevents corrosion of the underlying metal. It also prevents chrome roughening. The anti-rust oil film is extremely thin at the molecular level, yet it remains intact and is easy to remove. It can be used with standard application methods such as brushing, dipping, or spraying.
