The FRM220-OAB15 is a line card for a 1-channel EDFA booster amplifier designed for the C band in the FRM220 chassis rack management. It offers excellent wideband noise performance while featuring a broad dynamic range. It provides Automatic Power Control (APC) and Automatic Current Control (ACC) via rack management or an RS-232 console interface. The high-speed transient suppression function allows the output power to remain constant even when the input power changes rapidly.
