The "α-Beat plus" is a new type of soft starter that debuted in September 2023. It does not produce inrush current typically seen in star-delta starting methods. It does not require a cooling fan, and there is no need for harmonic or noise countermeasures, making it suitable for inverter backup. It can be delivered in a short time, has a small MCB capacity, and requires only three wires, making it compact, lightweight, and economical. It is suitable for fixed-speed equipment.
