It is possible to set various crystallization conditions! A compact micro-dispensing system for protein crystallization.
The Oryx series is a micro-dispensing system for protein crystallization manufactured by Douglas Instruments, capable of setting diverse crystallization conditions. Through Microseed Matrix Screening (MMS), it allows for the acquisition of crystal hits under a wide range of conditions and enables the rapid attainment of higher resolution crystals. Additionally, by taking each additive from a 96-well plate pre-filled with various additives and mixing it with the protein and reservoir solution to create each drop, it is easy to create crystallization plates for screening the effects of various additives on crystallization.
