Lauda automatic dynamic viscosity measurement system PVS system
The PVS kinematic viscosity measurement device from LAUDA automatically measures the kinematic viscosity of ideal fluids (Newtonian fluids) using a glass capillary viscometer.
The system adopts a completely modular configuration, allowing you to choose the optimal system from many combinations according to your budget, application purpose, number of samples, and more. We offer systems that automate only the measurement as well as those that automate the cleaning process. (The measurement stand can control up to 8 units, and there are also higher models equipped with an auto-sampler.) Since additional features and expansions can be added later, it is possible to implement a setup with lower initial costs while keeping the final configuration in mind. All operations are performed using software on a PC, making it easy to operate and manage data. When combined with the Proline series constant temperature water baths, measurements can be taken under precise temperature control. By employing near-infrared detection for liquid level detection, we minimize measurement errors associated with visual observation and variations due to liquid color, enabling high-precision measurements at the millisecond level.
