The FlowCam series is a particle image analysis system that combines digital imaging technology with optical microscopy technology. It captures high-speed images of microparticles in solution through an optical microscope and performs automatic analysis in real-time. It can simultaneously obtain information on particle size distribution and particle images. In addition to particle size and concentration, the ability to evaluate particle shape through image analysis allows for detailed analysis of samples that cannot be understood through simple particle size distribution.

Evaluating insoluble particles and subvisible particles (SVP) contained in biopharmaceuticals is extremely important for ensuring the quality of pharmaceuticals. FlowCam can detect SVP contained in biopharmaceuticals, such as protein aggregates, bubbles, and silicone oil droplets, and allows for evaluation through imaging.

Optimization of Particle Detection Conditions (Threshold) In FlowCam, it is possible to optimize the threshold for particle recognition. Since measurement videos can be completely saved, it is easy to conduct threshold condition studies using the same video. This is a useful feature for more accurately capturing fragmented particle recognition.
