[Announcement of the Pharma Lab EXPO Tokyo Seminar] The Cutting Edge of Dissolution Evaluation Opened by Flow-Through Cells: From APIs to Controlled Release and Subcutaneous Administration Formulations

The flow-through cell dissolution test was developed in the 1970s as a more biorelevant testing method compared to the beaker type, allowing for automatic pH changes that mimic the GI environment and the maintenance of sink conditions for poorly soluble compounds. Traditionally, the "open" configuration has been mainstream, enabling continuous collection of the dissolution medium, thus avoiding interruptions in testing due to sampling. In recent years, a "closed" configuration with an independent reservoir has emerged, allowing for more flexible test designs. This seminar will introduce practical insights and specific approaches to the flow-through cell method that accommodates a variety of formulations. Exhibition Name: Pharma Lab EXPO Tokyo Seminar Date and Time: May 22, 2026 (Friday) 10:50 AM - 11:20 AM Speaker: Michel Magnier (SOTAX) Exhibition Booth Number: 5 - 40
