Heelscher Company Powerful Ultrasonic Assist Dyeing
It is possible to improve the penetration of dyes into the fibers and pores of textiles, significantly increasing color intensity and vibrancy! Low-temperature processing and fast dyeing speed too!
<Ultrasonic Effects During Dyeing> Even with the same ultrasound, the results are completely different from those of immersion-type ultrasonic cleaners. At amplitudes below 1μm, no effects can be expected from ultrasound. It is only with high amplitudes of over 50μm and high surface intensity of over 20W/cm² that the powerful ultrasonic technology of Heelusher can achieve these results. Wet & Batch Dyeing: Ultrasonic cavitation and microstreaming can enhance the penetration of dyes into the fibers and yarn pores of materials. Ultrasonic cavitation accelerates the diffusion rate of pigments inside the fibers by perforating the outer layer of the fibers, allowing the dye to enter the fiber pores. At the same time, ultrasonic treatment can speed up the chemical reactions between the dye and the fibers.
basic information
The influence of high-power ultrasound has enabled manifold applications not only in development, catalysis, electronics, and energy but also in biology & medicine and materials chemistry. Hielscher powerful ultrasound allows for the dispersion of desired crushed nanoparticles (such as nanotubes, graphene, nanodiamonds, ceramics, metal oxides, etc.). Ultrasound-assisted precipitation, known as bottom-up synthesis, is an efficient method for creating pure nanocrystals with unique properties. Applications/Examples of results
Ultrasonic treatment is an effective technology for dyeing fibers and fabrics with coloring agents such as organic and inorganic dyes. Even at the pilot level, ultrasonic dyeing technology has been successful for various types of fibers and fabrics. Ultrasonic treatment can improve the dyeing process. - Wool - Silk - Angora - Cotton & Knit Cotton Fabric - Synthetic Fibers (Nylon, Polyester, Polyamide) - Natural Fibers (Linen, Bamboo, Cellulose Fabric) After treatment with powerful ultrasound, SEM analysis demonstrates that ultrasonic dyeing does not affect the surface structure of (nano) fibers.
