[Case Study] Cleaning Work of Plating Tanks

We would like to introduce a case where a hood was installed that can be moved onto the furnace lid only during maintenance work. During maintenance (quenching) work inside the furnace, a large amount of dust and high heat were generated due to the opening of the furnace lid, and the only dust collection equipment was the overall ventilation system installed above the work area. This resulted in workers being exposed to dust and high heat while performing their tasks. After the installation of the hood, work could be carried out without exposure to dust and high heat.
