Wet dust collectors are used in places where dry dust collectors cannot be employed, such as in exhaust treatment with high humidity and in exhaust treatment containing hygroscopic and deliquescent dust.
Wet-type dust collection scrubbers are devices that do not require pumps because the gas introduced into the unit violently disperses and atomizes water. This allows for high dust collection efficiency as water droplets effectively contact the dust, and the internal structure is simple, making maintenance easy. They are widely used in processes where dry dust collectors, such as bag filters, cannot be employed due to exhaust gas conditions or dust characteristics.
