Snap Action Switch "S800 Series"
Achieving the safety and reliability required for circuits through a uniquely developed forced disconnection mechanism!
The "S800 Series" is a micro switch that includes snap action switches, subminiature switches, and enable switches, designed to accommodate various applications. It achieves high cutoff capacity, continuous use, fast switching, and short bounce time. The double break contact opens the circuit at two points, creating two air gaps. 【Features】 ■ Self-cleaning and polished contacts ■ Over 10 million mechanical life cycles ■ Smart, compact design with side holes for connection ■ Products with enhanced protection ratings up to IP67 ■ High resistance to vibration and shock ■ Transparent housing for contact visibility *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.

However, this snap action switch employs double-break contacts, making it particularly capable of rapidly interrupting DC circuits, thus ensuring the interruption current capacity. Additionally, it is designed with a forced disconnection mechanism according to European standards. Therefore, there are structural differences compared to general micro switches. To extinguish the arc generated when interrupting inductive loads in DC circuits, permanent magnets are also available as an option.

E-T-A was founded in Germany in 1948 as a specialized manufacturer of circuit protector relays and has since grown into a global leader in overcurrent protection and power distribution systems. With the concept of "We protect lives and assets," our role is to protect people and machines from dangerous situations such as overcurrents and short circuits in electrical circuits. We take pride in having one of the widest product ranges and the highest number of certifications in the world, being recognized globally as a market leader, and continuously evolving by offering various solutions from individual components to complete systems. We own a UL-certified testing laboratory in-house and are committed to the development of global safety standards. The Japanese subsidiary of E-T-A was established in 1994. We aim to provide not only product deliveries but also to visualize our customers' concerns and questions regarding safety and offer appropriate advice through solution-oriented engineering. For us, quality is the culmination of hardware safety and reliability, along with the added value of engineering and services.
