Edmund launches a compact and lightweight C-mount SWIR fixed-focus lens.

Edmund Optics Japan, Inc. has started selling the TECHSPEC C Series SWIR fixed focal length lenses. The TECHSPEC C Series SWIR fixed focal length lenses are C-mount lenses compatible with sensors up to 2/3 inch, supporting resolutions up to 7.5 megapixels (with a pixel size of 2.8 μm). Designed with a large maximum aperture, they feature broadband AR coatings optimized for the 900-1700 nm wavelength range, with working distance and resolution requirements in mind for factory automation and inspection. They are well-suited for various machine vision, factory automation, and autonomous applications.
