Edmund Optics Japan Co., Ltd. has started selling monolithic collimators. Different focal lengths optimized for numerical apertures of 0.5 and 0.2 simultaneously collimate light from the fast and slow axes of laser diodes. They can circularize the elliptical beam output of common blue laser diodes and are suitable for light collimation of single emitters in the blue spectrum.
