Edmund Optics Japan Co., Ltd. has started selling the "Yb-Doped Dichroic Mirror." This product is a dichroic mirror that achieves a high reflectivity of 99.5% at 1030nm and a transmittance of 98% at 940nm, with a wide acceptance angle of 0-5°. It is available in thicknesses of 3mm and diameters of 12.5, 25, or 50mm. It features a low group delay dispersion (GDD) of less than ±100fs² in the range of 1030nm-1080nm, making it beneficial for ultrafast pulse and nonlinear applications, including multiphoton microscopy.
