Edmund Optics Japan Co., Ltd. has started selling the "Digital Fiber Coupling LED." This product offers spectrally stable high radiant power within a compact and user-friendly form factor, with wavelength options ranging from 275 to 940 nm, as well as broadband and white LED options. It incorporates a driver and controller, allowing a series of LED parameters to be controlled through an intuitive software interface. It eliminates the need for energy-consuming, noisy air-cooling fans, achieving a long lifespan without the need for lamp replacement.
