Edmond launches high-performance phase modulation "G&H Pockels Cell" up to 1MHz.

Edmund Optics Japan Co., Ltd. has started selling the "G&H Pockels Cell." It is designed to perform high-performance electro-optic phase modulation through the Pockels effect and functions as a voltage-controlled waveplate. Utilizing KD*P crystals with a purity of 99% or β-barium borate (BBO) crystals, this product achieves over 98% transmission from the UV to NIR spectrum and has a high damage threshold of over 10 J/cm². It is suitable for Q-switching, pulse picking, and laser output control.
