Edmund Optics (EO) of the United States has started the release of the "TECHSPEC BBAR Coated Right Angle Prism" through its Japanese subsidiary, Edmund Optics Japan Co., Ltd. This product achieves a tight angular tolerance of ±15″, reducing angular deviation and eliminating the need for recalibration of other components in optical systems. The prism is made from N-BK7 glass and features high-precision specifications including surface quality (scratch-dig) 40-20, flatness λ/8, and dimensional tolerance +0/-0.1mm. Additionally, there are eight types of prisms available with standard coating options that cater to VIS 0° and NIR I. Custom sizes are also available, and we provide short delivery times to our customers.
