Announcement of the start of sales for "TECHSPEC Machine Vision Filters (formerly: Imaging Filters)"

Edmund Optics Japan, the Japanese subsidiary of Edmund Optics (EO) in the United States, has announced that it will change the name of its imaging filter products to "TECHSPEC Machine Vision Filters" and will begin selling them anew. Previously called "TECHSPEC Imaging Filters," these highly durable filters have been renamed "TECHSPEC Machine Vision Filters" to focus on their use with EO's machine vision cameras and lenses. Designed for the most demanding machine vision and imaging applications, these filters maximize compatibility by transmitting or blocking specific UV, visible, or IR wavelengths and accommodating extremely wide incident angles.
