Announcement of the launch of TECHSPEC "50Å Non-Axis Parabolic Mirror"

エドモンド・オプティクス・ジャパン
Edmund Optics (EO) of the United States has launched a precision mirror with a shape error of λ /8 RMS and a surface roughness of less than 50Å RMS through its Japanese subsidiary, Edmund Optics Japan Co., Ltd. The "50Å Non-Axis Parabolic Mirror" is designed to reflect and focus collimated light at a specified angle with minimal scattering loss. It employs a unique process to reduce light scattering in the UV and visible regions, and it undergoes visual inspection using a HeNe laser to ensure low scattering. The substrate is made of 6061-T6 aluminum, featuring superior surface roughness (<50Å RMS) and shape error (λ /8) compared to standard non-axis parabolic mirrors. This product is suitable for use in optical testing systems such as focusing, collimation, beam expansion, or MTF test benches. Additionally, it is available for immediate stock sale, allowing for quick delivery to customers.
