In May 2018 (Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo) – The Japanese subsidiary of Edmund Optics, Edmund Optics Japan Co., Ltd., began the release of the TECHSPEC λ/20 synthetic quartz right-angle prism. This highly versatile UVFS (UV synthetic quartz) prism is designed with precise specifications for most demanding applications. The prism is suitable for beam steering, retroreflection, and other applications where low wavefront aberration is critical for system performance. The UV synthetic quartz substrate exhibits low thermal expansion coefficient and excellent transmission characteristics from UV to NIR.
