In May 2018 (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo) – The Japanese subsidiary of Edmund Optics (EO), Edmund Optics Japan Co., Ltd., began the launch of the TECHSPEC Ultra-Compact Objective Lens Assembly. This microscope assembly features the smallest objective lens among Edmund Optics products and is considered the shortest and most compact product for objective lenses with equivalent working distance, magnification, and resolution. This objective lens allows for easy changes to different magnifications through the use of various extension tubes. The numerical aperture (NA) and working distance can also be adjusted by modifying the optical system within the objective lens.
