Edmund Optics (EO) of the United States has started the release of the "TECHSPEC DA (Divergence Adjustable) Broadband Laser Beam Expander" through its Japanese subsidiary, Edmund Optics Japan Co., Ltd. This compact beam expander is optimized for a wide range of wavelengths to provide maximum flexibility, making it suitable for demanding tunable laser sources. The product features a design wavelength of 1940nm that complements lasers with wavelengths ranging from 1900 to 2100nm. Its unique absorption performance and ability to make very small and precise cuts with minimal localized heating of both biological tissues and plastics make it ideal for high-precision applications, including medical surgeries and plastic processing.
