Edmund Optics (EO) of the United States has launched its Japanese subsidiary, Edmund Optics Japan Co., Ltd., which has begun the release of the "TECHSPEC UCi Series Fixed Focal Length Lenses." These lenses are the Ultra-Compact Instrumentation (UCi) version of the UC Series fixed focal length lenses, designed for use in space-constrained applications while utilizing the same optical elements. They are suitable for OEM applications that require compact, robust, and lightweight imaging tools. The product achieves 4K resolution and is designed for small pixel sizes of less than 2.2μm, with a wide range of fixed aperture options available to accommodate various applications. It is suitable for use with M12x0.5S mount cameras. There are 21 models in the lineup, with focal lengths available in 4mm, 6mm, or 12mm. The working distances are available in three options: 0mm, 50mm, and 100mm. Additionally, each lens is equipped with an anti-reflective coating of MgF2 that maximizes transmission in the 400-700nm range. The products comply with RoHS directives and are available for immediate stock sales, ensuring short delivery times for customers.
