July 2019 (Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo) – Edmund Optics (EO) Japan, a subsidiary of Edmund Optics, has started selling a new laser-grade aspheric lens with a non-spherical tolerance of λ/40 RMS. This product is precisely polished using a magnetorheological finishing (MRF) machine that selectively removes material with advanced reproducibility and control. This polishing method enables diffraction-limited performance and achieves an excellent Strehl ratio of >0.8 at the design wavelength of Nd:YAG. 【Features】 ■ Extremely smooth optical surface ■ Suitable for high-precision laser focusing applications ■ Achieves an excellent Strehl ratio of >0.8 at the design wavelength of Nd:YAG ■ Utilizes high-performance laser single-wavelength V-coating with reflectance of less than 0.25% at each design wavelength ■ Made with synthetic quartz substrate ■ Standard inch sizes in F2 design lineup *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
