This imaging lens, exclusively sold by Edmund Optics, is a new product designed for demanding applications in harsh environments, featuring enhanced durability. It employs passive aspheric technology to achieve thermal optical stability between -10°C and +50°C, reducing thermal defocus in applications with temperature fluctuations, such as aerospace systems. This durability allows for high resolution to be maintained over a wide temperature range, and the lens incorporates new mechanics to minimize damage from shocks and vibrations, securing optical elements with adhesive to enhance durability for industrial applications.
