Mirror for visible light laser diodes

A multilayer film plane mirror suitable for use with He-Ne lasers and semiconductor lasers (LD). High reflectivity design with up to 97%!

A dielectric multilayer film plane mirror designed to achieve maximum reflectivity (97%) at a wavelength of 633 nm, which is the emission wavelength of He-Ne lasers and semiconductor lasers (LD), when incident at 45°. In the case of mirrors using standard metal film aluminum coatings, only a reflectivity level of about 85-90% can typically be achieved, making this mirror ideal for enhancing the reflection efficiency in optical systems. The backside of the substrate is finished to a mirror-like surface. Note that this product uses float glass for the substrate, so the surface accuracy is not particularly high. Therefore, it is generally not recommended for applications that place a high importance on the wavefront of the reflected laser. ■ Reflectivity of over 95% at the emission wavelength of visible light laser diodes ■ Ideal for systems with multiple reflective surfaces ■ Coating optimized for 45° incidence at a wavelength of 633 nm *You can download the catalog from Edmund Optics Japan that features this product from the link below.
