Small Doctor Blade Type Thin Film Fabrication Device
The doctor blade type thin film applicator is a tool and technique for uniformly applying liquid or slurry materials in a thin layer onto a substrate. It is relatively simple yet highly versatile, widely used in various laboratories and industrial settings for creating coatings and thin films. It is equipped with a stainless steel hot plate with a vacuum suction function for placing the substrate. Temperature settings are made using a digital PID controller on the front panel. The film thickness is adjusted by using a micrometer to set the gap between the substrate and the doctor blade. The slurry is dropped onto the substrate, and the blade can be moved horizontally simply by pressing a button using the built-in electric moving stage. The speed and movement amount are set using a knob on the front panel and are displayed digitally on an LED display.
