[Delivery Example] Transfer of 10,000 mPa·s high-viscosity paint
It is possible to transport high-viscosity slurry liquids! Here are examples of air diaphragm pump deliveries.
A major paint manufacturer consulted us about wanting to transfer high-viscosity liquid from a stirring tank. Based on the conditions of "high-viscosity paint with a viscosity of about 10,000 CP," "a horizontal draw of 3 meters from the tank is required," and "transfer to the production machine after self-priming," we proposed the ADD type air diaphragm pump. After delivery to the user, we received a call saying it "doesn't suck." Upon discussing the situation, we found that the conditions for the liquid, air supply, and installation were all fine, and we were puzzled as to why it wasn't working. However, from the installation photos provided by the customer, it became clear that the suction inlet diameter was restricted. The pump diameter is 15A, but it was narrowed down to 9A. When we requested the use of a hose with an inner diameter of φ15, it began to self-prime without any issues, and we received words of gratitude.
