[Case Study] Replacement of Tube Pump for High Viscosity Slurry Transfer

A chemical manufacturer consulted us, saying, "We want to transfer high-viscosity slurry that is difficult to handle with the existing tube pump." Given the conditions of high viscosity (approximately 1,000 mPa·s), high cleaning and disinfection properties, and the possibility of use at high temperatures (90°C), we proposed the sanitary single-screw pump INP-PCS. After delivery, the user provided feedback stating, "We had a prototype project with a viscosity that could not be pumped with the existing tube pump, and it performed well. When we conducted tests to verify the pulsation prevention effect compared to the tube pump, we found that the instantaneous flow rate was very stable, and we were able to obtain data showing an improvement in product yield," which we received as high praise.
