We received a consultation from Company J, a major steel manufacturer, stating that "the gear pump breaks down immediately, and we are in trouble." Upon checking the fluid, we found that they were transferring high-temperature (90°C) high-viscosity oil with the gear pump. Additionally, they mentioned that a small amount of slurry (iron powder) inevitably gets mixed in, leading us to conclude that the slurry was causing the gear pump failures.
