Improving operability in remote operation of construction machinery using 3D imaging technology - Co-creation with Hitachi Construction Machinery Co., Ltd.
Our company has collaborated with Hitachi Construction Machinery to develop a "remote operation solution" for construction machinery, utilizing 3D visual display technology to enhance operability. This solution addresses social issues at construction sites, such as early recovery during natural disasters and the shortage of machinery operators, by promoting the remote operation of construction machinery. By accurately displaying realistic images that closely resemble the sensation of actually operating the machinery on a 3D monitor located remotely, operators can grasp the situation on-site in real-time and perform tasks safely and efficiently from a distance. Our company is developing a system business consisting of an "Imaging Chain" made up of EIZO products for "capturing, recording, distributing, and displaying." In this solution, our technology is utilized in many areas, not only for display on 3D monitors but also for image processing and the transmission of camera footage.
