Visibility Enhancement System 'EVS1VX' [For Infrastructure Maintenance and Monitoring Operations]
[Demo units available for loan] [Case studies published] A visibility enhancement system that applies correction processing to video data to improve visibility for display on monitors.
EIZO's visibility enhancement system "DuraVision EVS1VS" connects to cameras and video recorders via HDMI, identifying information that needs correction from the captured footage and performing EIZO's unique visibility enhancement processing to display it in real-time on the connected monitor. It is suitable for maintenance tasks related to social infrastructure such as roads, tunnels, railways, and power transmission facilities, as well as various monitoring tasks in security, factories, and ports. <Benefits of Implementation> ■ When confirming with the human eye ⇒ It becomes easier for the observer to detect abnormalities. ■ When AI detection is implemented ⇒ Abnormalities are more easily detected by AI. <Introduction of Implementation Case> FullDepth Inc. The company has introduced the EVS1VX for developing and manufacturing underwater drones for inspections and surveys. We inquired how the EVS1VX is utilized in their underwater drone imaging system. ⇒ For more details, please check the comprehensive catalog of DuraVision industrial imaging solutions or the case study page on the EIZO website.

New system launched to improve monitor display visibility.
EIZO will release the visibility enhancement systems "DuraVision EVS1VX" on August 25, 2020, and "DuraVision EVS1VS" in October 2020. These products are box-shaped visibility enhancement systems that apply correction processing to video data, improving visibility for display on monitors. For example, during inspections of infrastructure such as roads, bridges, and railways, or when detecting faulty areas in equipment, they can correct images that are difficult to see due to weather conditions, making them clearer on the monitor. ● Please download the news release for more details.

New features added to the "Visibility Enhancement System," allowing images to be saved after correction processing.
EIZO has added a new feature as a paid option to its visibility enhancement system "DuraVision EVS1VX" (hereafter referred to as EVS1VX), which is currently on sale. This feature allows users to capture any scene of the visually enhanced video displayed on the EVS1VX as a still image and save it to a USB memory stick. This capability to save images directly from the visibility enhancement system to a USB memory stick is a first in the industry. *As of March 2021, according to our research.
