[Case Study on Problem Solving] Ease of Writing with Two-Color Molded Grip Parts
We will introduce a case where simplifying the assembly process achieved a reduction in delivery time!
Regarding the ease of writing with the two-color molded grip part, two types of molds are required. However, by eliminating O-rings and packing, and omitting printing and painting, we can achieve better cooling efficiency during molding, which is expected to shorten the molding cycle. The customer in this case faced the challenge of having to fit the grip part (elastomer part) in the next process, making the assembly process cumbersome. We proposed a method to achieve integrated molding with two-color molding, simplifying the assembly process and reducing delivery times. 【Case Overview】 ■ Challenges and Background Faced by the Customer - The grip part (elastomer part) had to be fitted in the next process, making the assembly process cumbersome. ■ Proposed Solution - Achieved integrated molding with two-color molding. ■ Results and Effects - Simplified assembly process, resulting in reduced delivery times. *For more details, please download the PDF or feel free to contact us.
