Anodizing is a rust prevention treatment for aluminum. Aluminum is a metal that reacts easily chemically, forming a natural oxide film on its surface. However, this oxide film is thin and weak, so when damaged, corrosion progresses. Therefore, the process of artificially forming an oxide film on the surface of aluminum using electrolysis is called anodizing.
