EVERLOY (Kyoritsu Alloy Manufacturing Co., Ltd.) Super Hard Alloy ME40
Wear-resistant and discharge machining ultra-hard alloy
- Suppression of damage caused by electrical discharge machining - Suppression of corrosion due to water discharge machining - Suppression of chipping due to impact during press processing
basic information
1. Design to suppress strength reduction and electrochemical corrosion during water WEDM (1) By optimizing the particle size of WC, we enhanced the bending strength after water WEDM. (2) By reviewing the component design, we improved corrosion resistance. 2. Design that considers cutting performance during pressing and suppresses chipping during grinding (By excluding coarse WC that affects chipping, we improved chipping resistance during grinding) 3. Effective in preventing chipping in molds when impact occurs during pressing of stainless materials.

Applications/Examples of results
- For molds used in long-duration water wire electrical discharge machining (especially for dies) - When processed by wire electrical discharge machining, and there are concerns about chipping due to some impact during use as a mold - For molds when there are concerns about corrosion due to wet processing - For molds when there are concerns about corrosion due to humidity effects during storage - Additionally, as parts made of cemented carbide
