Introduction of case studies for problem-solving, such as improving the lifespan of mold parts: "Wear Prevention"
We will respond to your desire to extend the lifespan of mold parts! Proposal for improving wear resistance of carbide parts.
Our company contributes to solving the problems faced by our customers, such as improving the lifespan of mold parts. We received an inquiry from a customer stating, "We are punching work materials with a carbide punch, but the wear at the tip is severe. We want to extend the lifespan of the punch to increase productivity." In response, we analyzed the worn punch we received. It was determined that iron was adhering to the punch tip, accelerating wear. Therefore, we proposed a carbide material that is less prone to iron adhesion. After implementing the countermeasure, despite the new material having a higher number of strokes, the amount of adhered work material decreased, resulting in less wear. [Case Study] [Before Countermeasure Material] ■ Number of Strokes: 500,000 to 1,500,000 ■ Wear at Punch Tip: Approximately 0.8mm ↓ [After Countermeasure Material] ■ Number of Strokes: 1,800,000 ■ Wear at Punch Tip: Approximately 0.2mm *For more details, please refer to the PDF document or feel free to contact us.
